Co.Me.Ar. e BSP
Co.Me.Ar. and BSP are leading industrial companies specializing in the production of high-complexity mechanical components built to print, according to customer’s drawings and technical requirements.
Founded in 1987 (Co.Me.Ar.) and 1994 (BSP), the two companies have steadily developed advanced technical expertise, supported by continuous investments in technology, human capital, and process development, under the leadership of founder and CEO Claudio Becchetti.
BSP specializes in the manufacturing of components for industrial and aerospace bearings, working in collaboration with leading international players. Co.Me.Ar., on the other hand, focuses on the production of complex, custom-engineered components for a wide range of applications.
Since October 2023, Co.Me.Ar. and BSP have become part of UMBRAGROUP, which has acquired a 51% stake in both companies. The remaining 49% is still held by Claudio Becchetti, who will continue to serve as CEO in the coming years, ensuring continuity, reliability, and confidentiality for all stakeholders.
Precision and reliability for advanced industry
Co.Me.Ar. and BSP are companies deeply rooted in the Umbrian territory, where they have built over time a strong and mutual relationship with the local industrial and social fabric.
“Most of the people working in our companies come from this area, contributing every day with their expertise, passion, and strong sense of belonging to the success and growth of our organizations.”
(Claudio Becchetti)
Spello, with its history, beauty, and quality of life, represents the environment in which we grow and operate. Being part of this territory means not only developing industrial activities, but also enhancing local resources and contributing to the economic development of the community.
Co.Me.Ar. and BSP have established themselves at an international industrial level, while remaining a key reference point for Spello and the Umbria region, combining tradition and industry, people and innovation.
Co.Me.Ar. is a highly specialized company in the build-to-print manufacturing of precision, critical, and high-complexity mechanical components.
Thanks to a machine park mainly composed of integrated CNC multitasking machining centers, combined with strong and well-established technical expertise, the company is capable of producing a wide range of components featuring high geometric and dimensional complexity, as well as a high level of application diversity.
In the aeronautical and aerospace sector, Co.Me.Ar. is a direct supplier to major international players, primarily manufacturing Flight Safety and Vital parts for actuation systems, braking systems, landing gear, fuel delivery, and transmission systems.
The company also operates in the defense and high-precision industrial sectors, producing components for machine tools, cutting and forming systems, and automation equipment.

Mission & Vision

COMEAR aims to be a primary and reliable partner for leading OEMs in the Aerospace, Defense, Energy and Industrial sectors, capable of supplying mechanical components produced at different levels of vertical integration, according to customer requirements.
Our vision is to consolidate an integrated and customer-oriented industrial model, where industrialization, production, quality control and logistics operate synergistically to ensure continuity, traceability and consistent performance over time.
COMEAR’s mission is to support its customers through a co-design and technical collaboration approach, starting from the earliest stages of industrialization, contributing to the development of highly specialized and repeatable manufacturing solutions.
We produce complex, high-precision components, ensuring the highest quality standards and fully controlled processes across the entire value chain.
We operate with a structured and vertically integrated organization, capable of combining expertise in industrialization, production, quality control, and logistics management.
We continuously invest in the development of our technologies and manufacturing processes, with the goal of enhancing industrial performance, solving complex technical challenges, and delivering reliable and competitive long-term solutions.
Sustainability
COMEAR has defined a multi-year ESG roadmap, in close alignment with its parent company UMBRAGROUP, aimed at the progressive reduction of CO₂ emissions and the continuous improvement of its environmental, energy, and organizational performance.
This pathway is based on measurable targets and a structured action plan focused on reducing waste, optimizing energy consumption, and increasing the use of renewable energy sources. In this context, the company has planned and implemented initiatives to improve plant efficiency, enhance its energy self-generation capacity through photovoltaic systems, and streamline production processes, with the goal of achieving a tangible and progressive reduction of environmental impact across its industrial activities.
Alongside technological investments, COMEAR adopts a structured approach to sustainability, integrating environmental, social, and governance (ESG) criteria into its strategic and operational decisions. Responsible resource management, consumption monitoring, the protection of health and safety, and the continuous improvement of processes represent key elements of the company’s industrial model.
Environmental management and occupational health and safety are based on the adoption of management systems aligned with the nature and complexity of the company’s operations. In this framework, COMEAR is certified according to ISO 14001:2015 for Environmental Management Systems and ISO 45001:2018 for Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, ensuring a structured approach in line with international standards.
To further reinforce its commitment to transparency and recognized best practices, the company voluntarily undergoes ESG assessment and rating processes by independent organizations such as EcoVadis and Synesgy. This commitment enables continuous benchmarking against external standards and strengthens the credibility of its ongoing improvement path.
COMEAR also aims to extend its strategic vision by sharing principles, standards, and best practices with stakeholders and supply chain partners, contributing to the development of a responsible, sustainable, and efficient industrial ecosystem in the long term.
